ARODETH CAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey everybody! For you people who don't know me, I am... let's say... obsessed with Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and The Avengers. Sooo, as you can see, I've changed my profile name to Aranel. That is a name in Elvish, a language J.R.R. Tolkien invented. Firefly changed her name to Arodeth, which is also Elvish. So when I mention Arodeth, that is Firefly's new name.

Last Wednesday, Arodeth came up to Dallas!!! We had a blast. When Aro (my nickname for Arodeth. My nickname is Ara.), came to Dallas in September, I gave her and Boonie Mom quite the welcome. I dressed up as an old lady and pretended to be walking along. hen their car came into sight, I hobbled toward our house. They exited their car laughing, and I tore off my disguise.
This visit, I had been plotting for a week about how to 'greet' them. The night before they came, I got the perfect plan. Arodeth and I had made ninja outfits, complete with capes(see pic below). I decided to wear mine. So, my plan-There is a tree right next to the road near our house. I was going to climb the tree, and when they were passing, jump out and run alongside their car. So that morning, about thirty minutes before their arrival, I climbed the tree and waited for them. Every time I heard a car approach, I thought, 'Snap! It's them!' And it would never be them. Then when it was actually them, I was not prepared! So I jumped down and took off. Unfortunately, in my descent, my cape flew up over my head. Fortunately, no one saw the cape flap over my face. They stopped the car and laughed, letting Aro jump out and run over to me. Together, we chased the car.
  • Wednesday- They arrived; we played in the empty pool; then we actually went to an aquatic center. It was super fun! A side note on the aquatic center- The lifeguards were AWESOME. Seriously hilarious. One guy was at the top of the slides, telling people 'Go. Go.' Then, he was blathering randomly about random stuff. Aro and I looked at each other and started laughing. I said, 'That would be us at a job'. Then the next time we went arrived at the top of the slide platform, he was dancing on a chair to no music. I asked, 'Boring job?' and he replied, 'Yup'. We got to the bottom of the slides and started laughing. I said, 'THAT is me on the job.' She agreed. Then he switched posts and a different guy came up. We were like 'Awwww, funny guy's gone!' Turns out, he was just as hilarious. He was splashing people, and  when one little kid screamed like crazy on a super slow slide, he did a hilarious imitation of the kid. When his replacement was coming up the stairs, he dumped water on him and swan-dived down a slide.  We agreed that would be her at a job:) Later, we went home and played outside in the pool some more.
  • Thursday- We went to Six Flags and it was SO FUN!!!!  We rode a bunch of rollercoasters and mini rides. We went home and played outside (surprise!).
  • Friday-We got ready to go to MAIN EVENT!! And waited on the moms outside. And waited... Then we left!! And played seven games of laser tag. Then we had to leave... Almost immediately after we got home, we left to go to a play. We headed home, and I remembered that we had to pick up Arodeth's cape, which was at a lady's house, being used as an example for the cape she was making for me. When we knocked, she said, 'Come in! (To Aro) Here is your cape, (To me) And here is yours.' I was ecstatic. I didn't think she would have it finished yet. We chased the car back to the house with our capes on. We played a bit, then went to bed.
  • Saturday-We played outside then she had to leave. WAHHHHH!!!!

Well, that's all for now,
                                      Aranel
